Riders off to Nationals at Lake Tahoe / Truckee

This is an extraordinary year for our team.

We will have 6 athletes competing in the National Championships

Rob Gonzalez  Elite TT

Cynthia Wang – girls juniors 17-18 – RR, TT and Crit

Zahra Gill – girls juniors 15-16 – RR, TT and Crit

Catie Melnarik – girls juniors 13-14 – RR, TT and Crit

Becky Melnarik – girls juniors 10-12 – RR, TT and Crit

I know they will try their very best and no matter what the results, we can all be proud of them for getting out there and competing against hopefully the best in the nation. After Cynthia’s near miss last year in both RR and Crit, i know she will hoping to move up on to the podium. And from results so far this season, it would not be an unreasonable idea to think that both Zahra and Catie can also be up in the mix. As for Becky, it’s a complete unknown. What we do know is that Becky is a fierce competitor and great success would not surprise me.
