Page in progress.

Team Fremont has supported, and continues to support, a variety of Bay Area events, including the city-famous Primavera Century, Red Kite Omnium, and the Calaveras Time Trial.

The team provides critical support for its riders at no cost. This includes training and guidance from Category 1 USAC riders at least once a week, equipment support (to the extent of whole bikes, temporarily) for its perspective riders, and payment for race registration.

While our focus is to be on top of the time everywhere, every time, we continuously stress the importance of introducing the sport of bicycle racing to beginners with all possible manners of assistance.

Calaveras Time Trial

August 18, 2014–Yesterday Team Fremont provided the course setup, marshals and tear down crew for the latest iteration of the Red Kite race series.

I want to record how happy and proud I was of how we did an outstanding job helping Steve Rosefield run the event.
Special thanks to West Kurihara who wrangled and scheduled members for their shifts
In no particular order, here is who put their shoulder to the wheel.

Bill Brier. Bill was there and was third to arrive and last to leave. His day went from 05:55 to 20:00. Huge thank you.
Richard Brockie. Richard was there in his capacity as results guru with his OnTheDay.net hat on. Thanks for the early morning astronomy lesson 🙂
Gazza Birch. Gazza spent most of the day hanging out with his new best friend, Master Austin Gokey. Austin is seven and is checking out his toes every day to see if his toe hair is growing (inside joke).

April 28, 2014–Many thanks to all who helped out this weekend in various capacities at the Primavera.  Whether you were there all day or just a few hours, your contributions helped to make the rest stop at Rios Lovell a well oiled machine.  I heard nothing but praise from the riders and I think we all collectively made the lunch stop an enjoyable experience for all the riders.
The main goal was to improve upon our performance from last year and from my perspective I think we accomplished it.
