Ride with Chris Horner

Robert and I did the Clark’s Corner Cycling Challenge in Ione, just outside Folsom. This is a small organized ride put on by a local coffee shop/cafe(Clark’s Corner) to get people to ride some roads they are proud of. Chris Horner attends the ride and did an awesome job at making a point of chatting with everyone out riding. The route was really awesome and took use through some beautiful farm land and back roads. Chris was a really great guy to have a conversation with and very down to earth, no ego. He made a video with Robert for an old friend they have in common from San Diego that is currently having some health issues. Hours after Robert sent the video off his friend had posted on Facebook that thanks to some inspiration from his good friend Robert he got on his bike and was able to ride 17 miles….awesome! I recommend checking this out next year.I find it really cool that cycling brings me to these places that I would never venture to on my own.

Awesome. Looked like you two were training Chris Horner while he waits to hear who he will be racing with in 2015. (Smile.)
