2010 Early Bird Mentoring & Training Races

posted in: Team, Useful stuff | 1

Merry Christmas Everyone

Looking forward to 2010, I am hoping the Fremont Race Team has a great year, and our members strive to achieve whatever goals they may have set for them selves.

With that thought in mind, i wanted to remind all members who intend to race, both experienced and newbies, that the Early Bird series of events right here in Fremont are an amazing resource.

These events are on the first 5 Sundays of year, commencing January 3rd, 2010.

This series of events are designed to be progressive, where skills learned or practiced are built upon in following weeks, in a way that hopefuuly will produce athletes with a good understanding of the dynamics of riding and racing, and their responsibilities to your fellow athletes around you.

These events are USAC sanctioned, and you will require either a USAC one day license or USAC annual license. Your annual license can either be purchased on-line (the best and safest way), or at the event registration. The annual license costs $60. A 1 day license is $10.

Please visit here for an annual license purchase.

The club name is Fremont Freewheelers

The race team name is “Team Fremont / FFBC powered by Chipotle”

There is also an event fee of $15 each week. When you consider the high quality mentoring you will receive, this is a bargain.

Anyway, i hope to see you out there, and remember, SMILE.

Some of the teammates not racing the early birds proposed we do a bit of tailgaiting/promoting/bbq-ing at the Early Birds… Just wondering what everybody’s schedule is like and which would be the best date to set up our grill…
